1. After reviewing the green sheet at registration, I was drawn to Roots Music immediately based on my love of music and desire to know more about the origins and history. It really wasn't just a "I'll take it because I have to," but more of a "I really hope I get my first choice."

5. Directly, I'm not involved in any kind of music performance, though I do write (CD reviews and features) on Minnesota music for both a website and a magazine.
